Service Description
Join us for an engaging 2 day spring coat workshop, where you will craft your very own Classic Trench Coat, part of our Made by Me series—a series of one to two day workshops to introduce persons to the art of sewing. This workshop is dedicated solely to the sewing process, making it an ideal experience for both beginners and experienced sewists. Under the expert guidance of our instructors, you will use pre-cut fabric pieces to sew and customize your own 97% cotton, 3% elastane trench coat, fully lined with polyester blend fabric. What You’ll Create: A classic trench coat with a structured storm shield, collar, and elegant double-breasted front. Thoughtful details like sleeve loops, belt loops, a cinched tie waist, and a flowing back vent complete the look, all fully lined in breathable 100% cotton for a polished finish. What’s Included: ✔ Pre-cut fabric pieces for the trench coat ✔ Thread and necessary sewing materials ✔ Expert instruction and guidance throughout the session ✔ Access to high-quality sewing tools and machines You are welcome to bring your own embellishments (such as appliqués or custom buttons) if you wish to further personalize your trench coat. However, we encourage keeping additions relatively simple, given the class duration. Rest assured, if you find that you are unable to complete your trench coat within the workshop time, we have designed the class with beginners in mind and understand that each participant works at their own pace. At the end of the sessions, you will leave with a beautifully crafted trench coat—an essential and stylish addition to your wardrobe.
