Service Description
Cet atelier de 10 semaines explore l’ajustement du pantalon, les variations de jambes, la confection sur mesure, la braguette, les ceintures et les finitions à patte. Vous tracerez un patron de base adapté à vos mesures et l’utiliserez pour créer votre propre modèle. PROGRAMME DE L’ATELIER Semaine 1 — Introduction au patron du pantalon (3 heures) Démonstration de moulage; terminologie et outils de patronage; prise de mesures; traçage d’un patron de base personnalisé. Semaine 2 — Introduction à la couture (3 heures) Présentation de la machine à coudre; assemblage, essayage et ajustement du pantalon; finalisation du patron de base. Semaines 3 à 6 — Variations de jambes (6 heures) Exploration de différentes formes, proportions et coupes de jambes. Semaine 7 — Poches et ceintures (3 heures) Poches passepoilées et cargo; ceintures et parementures de taille; traçage d’une braguette. Semaines 8 à 10 — Projet final (9 heures) Création et confection d’un pantalon selon votre propre modèle. Le matériel de patronage est fourni. Les participants doivent acheter le tissu et les autres fournitures nécessaires à leur projet final. -- This 10-week workshop explores pants fit, leg variations, tailored construction, fly fronts, waistbands, and tab finishes. You will draft a personalized pants block and use it to create your own design. WORKSHOP OUTLINE Week 1 — Pants Pattern Introduction (3 hours) Draping demonstration; pattern-making terminology and tools; taking measurements; drafting a personalized pants block. Week 2 — Sewing Introduction (3 hours) Sewing-machine overview; assembling, fitting, and adjusting pants; finalizing your block. Weeks 3–6 — Pants-Leg Variations (6 hours) Explore different leg shapes, proportions, and fit. Week 7 — Pockets and Waistbands (3 hours) Welt and cargo pockets; waistbands and waist facings; drafting a fly front. Weeks 8–10 — Final Project (9 hours) Create and sew pants using your own design. Pattern-making supplies are provided. Participants are responsible for purchasing the fabric and other materials needed for their final project.

Cancellation Policy
Participation and attendance are essential for maintaining the integrity and quality of our workshop. The following policy outlines expectations for handling missed classes and cancellations: Missed Classes: -Commitment to Attendance By enrolling in and confirming your schedule, you are agreeing to be present and prepared on the designated days. This commitment ensures consistency and fairness for all participants. -Notification and Discretion If an unforeseen circumstance prevents you from attending a class, it is your responsibility to inform the instructor as soon as possible. However, approval of missed classes and accommodations (e.g., rescheduling or make-up opportunities) are at the discretion of the instructor. -No Guaranteed Make-Ups Missing a class may result in forfeiting the opportunity to make up the session. Instructors will determine whether alternative arrangements are feasible based on the workshop’s requirements and the availability of resources. -Repeated Absences Consistent absences may affect your participation in the workshop and could result in reevaluation of your enrollment. Cancellation Policy: -Workshop Commitment By enrolling in the workshop, participants commit to attending the scheduled sessions. Cancellations should be avoided to maintain the integrity of the workshop schedule. -Cancellation Deadline Participants who need to cancel their enrollment must do so at least 48 hrs before the workshop begins to allow for necessary adjustments. -Fees and Refunds Cancellations made before the deadline may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made after the deadline may be non-refundable. Please see your plan policy for more details. -Emergency Exceptions Exceptions for emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Participants must provide timely notice and, where applicable, documentation of the emergency. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
