Service Description
Ce cours intermédiaire de huit semaines vous apprend à tracer, ajuster et confectionner un bustier structuré sur mesure. Vous créerez un patron personnalisé, réaliserez une toile d’essayage, corrigerez l’ajustement, puis confectionnerez le bustier final dans le tissu de votre choix. Vous apprendrez à poser les baleines, la doublure et les fermetures, à modeler les courbes et à réaliser des finitions professionnelles. Vous repartirez avec un bustier sur mesure et un patron réutilisable. PROGRAMME DU COURS Semaine 1 — Structure et fondations Anatomie du bustier, principes de soutien, structure et types de baleines. Semaine 2 — Développement du modèle Choix du modèle, de l’encolure, des découpes et de la méthode de confection. Semaine 3 — Mesures et patronage Prise de mesures précises et traçage du patron personnalisé. Semaine 4 — Mise au point du patron Ajustement du patron et préparation de la première toile. Semaine 5 — Toile et essayage Assemblage et essayage pour vérifier la forme et le soutien. Semaine 6 — Corrections du patron Application des ajustements et finalisation du patron. Semaine 7 — Confection finale Coupe et assemblage du bustier dans les matériaux choisis. Semaine 8 — Finitions professionnelles Pose des baleines, de la doublure et des fermetures; finitions soignées. -- This eight-week intermediate class teaches you to draft, fit, and sew a custom structured bustier. You will create a personalized pattern, make a muslin mock-up, perfect the fit, and sew the final bustier in your chosen fabric. Techniques include boning, contour shaping, lining, closures, and professional finishing. You will leave with a made-to-measure bustier and reusable pattern. CLASS OUTLINE Week 1 — Structure and Foundations Bustier anatomy, support principles, structure, and boning types. Week 2 — Design Development Choose your design, neckline, seam lines, and construction method. Week 3 — Measurements and Drafting Take precise measurements and draft your custom pattern. Week 4 — Pattern Refinement Refine the pattern and prepare the first mock-up. Week 5 — Mock-Up and Fitting Assemble and fit the mock-up to assess shape and support. Week 6 — Pattern Corrections Apply fitting adjustments and finalize the pattern. Week 7 — Final Construction Cut and sew the bustier using your selected materials. Week 8 — Professional Finishing Add boning, lining, closures, and couture finishing details.

Cancellation Policy

The following policy outlines expectations for handling missed classes and cancellations: Missed Classes: -Commitment to Attendance By enrolling in and confirming your schedule, you are agreeing to be present and prepared on the designated days. This commitment ensures consistency and fairness for all participants. -Notification and Discretion If an unforeseen circumstance prevents you from attending a class, it is your responsibility to inform the instructor as soon as possible. However, approval of missed classes and accommodations (e.g., rescheduling or make-up opportunities) are at the discretion of the instructor. -No Guaranteed Make-Ups Missing a class may result in forfeiting the opportunity to make up the session. Instructors will determine whether alternative arrangements are feasible based on the workshop’s requirements and the availability of resources. -Repeated Absences Consistent absences may affect your participation in the workshop and could result in reevaluation of your enrollment. Cancellation Policy: -Workshop Commitment By enrolling in the workshop, participants commit to attending the scheduled sessions. Cancellations should be avoided to maintain the integrity of the workshop schedule. -Cancellation Deadline Participants who need to cancel their enrollment must do so at least 48 hrs before the workshop begins to allow for necessary adjustments. -Fees and Refunds Cancellations made before the deadline may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made after the deadline may be non-refundable. Please see your plan policy for more details. -Emergency Exceptions Exceptions for emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
