Service Description
The Bustier Class is a six-week, intermediate sewing course where students learn to draft, fit, and construct a fully customized structured bustier. You’ll begin by creating your personalized bustier block, refine it for accuracy, and build a muslin prototype to perfect the fit. Once finalized, you’ll cut and sew your bustier in your chosen fabric, learning key couture techniques such as boning, contour shaping, lining, and closure installation. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a beautifully finished, made-to-measure bustier and the pattern to recreate it again. Week 1 — Structure & Foundations Introduction to bustier anatomy, structure, boning types, and support principles. Week 2 — Design & Style Development Design your bustier, choose seam lines, neckline, and construction approach. Week 3 — Measurements & Pattern Drafting Take precise measurements and draft your custom bustier pattern. Week 4 — Pattern Refinement & Mock-Up Prep Refine pattern pieces and prepare for your first mock-up. Week 5 — First Mock-Up & Fitting Assemble the mock-up and conduct a detailed fitting to assess shape and support. Week 6 — Pattern Corrections & Final Draft Apply fitting changes and finalize your corrected pattern. Week 7 — Sewing the Final Bustier Cut and sew the final bustier using chosen fabrics and structure materials. Week 8 — Finishing & Professional Details Add boning, closures, finishing techniques, and polish for a couture-level result.

Cancellation Policy
Participation and attendance are essential for maintaining the integrity and quality of our workshop. The following policy outlines expectations for handling missed classes and cancellations: Missed Classes: -Commitment to Attendance By enrolling in and confirming your schedule, you are agreeing to be present and prepared on the designated days. This commitment ensures consistency and fairness for all participants. -Notification and Discretion If an unforeseen circumstance prevents you from attending a class, it is your responsibility to inform the instructor as soon as possible. However, approval of missed classes and accommodations (e.g., rescheduling or make-up opportunities) are at the discretion of the instructor. -No Guaranteed Make-Ups Missing a class may result in forfeiting the opportunity to make up the session. Instructors will determine whether alternative arrangements are feasible based on the workshop’s requirements and the availability of resources. -Repeated Absences Consistent absences may affect your participation in the workshop and could result in reevaluation of your enrollment. Cancellation Policy: -Workshop Commitment By enrolling in the workshop, participants commit to attending the scheduled sessions. Cancellations should be avoided to maintain the integrity of the workshop schedule. -Cancellation Deadline Participants who need to cancel their enrollment must do so at least 48 hrs before the workshop begins to allow for necessary adjustments. -Fees and Refunds Cancellations made before the deadline may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made after the deadline may be non-refundable. Please see your plan policy for more details. -Emergency Exceptions Exceptions for emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Participants must provide timely notice and, where applicable, documentation of the emergency. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
